# Study Challenge: 7 Days to a Smarter You with MedullaFlashcards

Let’s be honest, studying can feel like a chore. You sit down, open your notes, and suddenly you're scrolling through TikTok instead. Or you’re rereading the same sentence for the fourth time, wondering if your brain has secretly taken a vacation.

We get it. We've all been there.

That’s why we created **MedullaFlashcards**. Our goal is to make studying actually work for real brains (the distracted, tired, snack-loving kind).

If you've been feeling stuck or unmotivated, we challenge you to try something new.

Welcome to the **7-Day Study Challenge**. Just **10 minutes a day**, for 7 days. No burnout. No overwhelm. Just small wins, added up over time.

---

## Why 7 Days?

You don’t need to commit to a 90-day grind or pull 6-hour study marathons. You just need a little momentum and the right system.

This challenge is based on solid brain science (hello, **spaced repetition** and **active recall**) and has been tested by students who’ve aced everything from board exams to surprise quizzes.

Let’s break it down.

---

## Day-by-Day Breakdown

### Day 1: Choose Your Focus + Pick a Deck

Start simple. What are you studying right now?

* Studying for the MCAT?

* Brushing up on anatomy?

* Learning Spanish for that trip you keep postponing?

Choose a deck from our library or create your own.

**Pro tip:** Set a daily study reminder in the app. Just 10 minutes.

---

### Day 2: Let Spaced Repetition Do Its Thing

If flashcards were magic, **spaced repetition** would be the secret.

Medulla figures out when you should see each card again based on how well you know it. This helps your brain remember it for the long term. You don’t have to guess. Just show up.

---

### Day 3: Create a Few Flashcards Yourself

Even if you're using pre-made decks, try making 5 cards today based on what you’re learning.

Why? Because creating flashcards helps you understand the material better. Add your own style. Use jokes, reminders, or whatever helps you remember.

This is YOUR brain we’re working with.

---

### Day 4: Quiz Yourself — No Peeking

Let’s see what you’ve got.

Go into “quiz mode” and challenge yourself. No notes. Just give it a try.

You might surprise yourself. And if not, that’s okay too. Every mistake means you’re one step closer to remembering it next time.

---

### Day 5: Explore What Others Are Studying

Check out the **public decks** in Medulla. It can be motivating to see what others are learning and how they set up their flashcards. You might even find a deck that fits your needs.

Bonus: You’re not studying alone anymore.

---

### Day 6: Study Anywhere, Anytime

We made Medulla mobile for a reason. Waiting in line? On a walk? Hiding in the bathroom during a family gathering?

Boom— that’s a study session. Even 5 minutes counts.

Learning doesn’t have to be a big deal. It can be flexible, sneaky, and still effective.

---

### Day 7: Reflect + Celebrate

You did it!

Take a moment today to look back at your progress. How many cards did you master? What felt easier than you thought? And hey, what if you kept going?

Learning doesn’t stop at Day 7— this shows you’re more capable than you realize.
